Twitch Stream Notifications (via SMS/Text)
If your account includes this feature, ChtrBot will send a text message to your subscribers when you go live.
Only one notification is sent per subscriber for each stream.
If you start multiple streams within the same hour, only the first stream will trigger a notification.
You can also create a custom chat command called !text to help viewers subscribe quickly.
Recommended response for the !text command:
Text “{broadcasterUserLogin}” to +1 (888) 890-05232 to receive Live Stream Notification Texts from ChtrBot for {broadcasterUserLogin}. How to Subscribe to Text Notifications
Open your phone's text messaging app.
In the "To" field, enter +1 (888) 890-05232.
In the message body, type the name of the broadcaster (i.e. chtrbot).
Send the message.
You will receive a confirmation once your subscription is active.
Subscribers can text HELP for assistance at any time.
Subscribers can text STOP to unsubscribe.
