OpenAI API Key

Please visit Twitch Chat Bot Settings to update your API key.

Required for AI-powered commands. Usage is billed directly to your OpenAI account.

Required permissions

  • Models — List models

  • Model capabilities — Chat Completions, Images, Moderations, Text-to-Speech

How to get an API key

  1. Go to platform.openai.com/api-keys

  2. Click Create new secret key

  3. Give it a name (e.g. chtrbot), set the permissions above, then click Create secret key

  4. Copy the key (it is only shown once) and paste it into the API key field, then click save.
